A lightweight gate, the Permaquip Ironman is a proven track design that can be used singly or in sets to lift and transport long rails, sleepers or turnout parts from one location to another. Each IRONMAN gate is equipped with a crash-resistant braking system that operates on two wheels on one leg. The brake lever works on both sides. The Ironman requires manual drive along the track by at least two employees to ensure safe transport of the cargo being handled. The Ironman can also be used to transpose rails from one side of the track to the other.
